Happy Monkey Day!

…what’s invisible and smells of bananas?

A monkey’s fart.

You’re probably wondering why we’re celebrating Monkey Day today.

Seems, it all started when Casey Sorrow, an art student at Michigan State University, wrote “Monkey Day” on his friend’s calendar as a prank.

And that prank spread through the University and more students in other places took it up.

Seems the weirdest things can catch on, with the least of effort. Had Casey went out of his way to push the date, it probably would have fallen on deaf ears.

That’s the way it goes.

Sometimes we think following the crowd and copying what’s working, will work for us, but that’s not always true.

Something I’d say a lot of Harry Potter copycats have found to their frustration.

Sure, it helps to follow the money, but sometimes you’ve got to run with the craziest idea you have, because you
don’t know where it’s going to take you.

Take the coloring book course I put together.

It was one of my easiest products to put together and was one of my most successful.

Who knew you didn’t need to know how to draw to create a great looking coloring book?

I’d didn’t.

Super Simple Coloring Books.

PS – An Arizona SWAT was once considered adding a three pound Capuchin monkey to their team. Seems someone thought fitting him with a miniature camera, and sending him into buildings before they went in was a good idea.

OK, maybe not…every…crazy idea should be followed through on. ?
