…the other day I got an email with someone signing off with this…
‘I’m beyond excited to share this with you.’
I’ve had some amazing things happen in my life.
Had 4 kids.
Written a very popular Minecraft series.
Recorded 500 podcast episodes.
Made some amazing products.
Helped a lot of folks out.
But I don’t think I’ve ever been ‘beyond excited.’ – And especially about a product that wasn’t even mine.
Here’s the thing….and something this new marketer doesn’t realize….I don’t care how excited you are about your product…what I care about is what it can do for me.
What’s in it for me?
That’s the mantra that’s going through everyone’s head.
Don’t try and sell me on your excitement, sell me on what it can do for me.
I could tell you how excited I am about my Email Ace writing course. – Yawn!
Or I could tell you that being able to write emails is a skill that very few people have and that’ll add money to your bank account.
Send more emails, make more money.
PS – Wonder how excited my young friend will be the next time he shows up? : )
Come to think of it, I can’t even remember his name. – Maybe he should be sending more emails. : )
Now, where could he get his hands on a course like that?
