…they say that if you tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth. – Maybe that’s why so many politicians rabbit on about the same things over and over again.
Firstly, to convince themselves that they’re right, and then everyone else.
Because “Repetition is a convincing argument,” says Shad Helmstetter. – The more we hear something the more we don’t bump against it, and the more right it seems.
So why am I talking about repetition?
Well because… you should be using it in your business and also on yourself.
The more you tell people you’re the King of email writing, the more people start to believe that you are and don’t question it.
That’s why the great Ben Settle says that you should always come up with a title for yourself.
You’re… the Irish email writing expert…. the Queen of low content books… Utah’s best fiction writer… or whatever.
It might seem daft to give yourself a title, but it’s a lot cheaper than going through college for a piece of paper.
And not only does it lift you, and separate you from the crowd, but say it enough times and you’ll start to believe it too.
Think of how you would look at what you do if you had one of those self-proclaimed titles.
Would you see yourself as just another low content creator, fiction writer, or email marketer? – I doubt it.
So use repetition in as many places as you can. Because a lot of us don’t pay much attention until we hear your message multiple times.
Heck, McDonalds’ has shown its name to us so many times, we’ve begun to think that eating there is an option. – Even a healthy one. Instead of obesity in a bag.
Repetition, repetition, repetition…
That’s why I’m back here every day peddling what I do and the products I sell : )
