There’s An Opportunity Being Wasted Right Now

…the other day my son Matthew told me that Netflix was restricting content to standard definition instead of high definition.

Why? – It was slowing down the Internet.

Now, I don’t know how true that is, but it wouldn’t surprise me. With no job to go to, and left in self-isolation, the first thought for most folks is a Netflix binge.

And, in however long this thing takes, those people will emerge from their hibernation with no more skills than when they entered their den.

They’ll go back to complaining about being broke.

They’ll go back to the job they hate.

And they’ll again, put their focus on the nirvana of retirement that’s twenty or thirty years ahead.

Instead, what if they turned off Netflix?

What if they signed up to Udemy?

What if they bought some credits for Audible?

What if they scoured YouTube for free quality training?

You think the end result might be a little different?

You think maybe some folks would emerge from this with some skills they didn’t have before?

You think maybe they could have a side hustle set up by then?

Of course, they would.

But the majority of folks won’t.

And they’ll look at this time as the biggest disaster that could ever happen to them.

But…was it ….or was it the biggest opportunity they had, and they let it slip through their fingers?

Earl Nightingale once said that if you studied a subject for an hour a day, you’d be an expert in a year’s time.

This time will pass.

But how are you spending it?

Building skills to come back stronger, or just filling your head with water cooler chat when you go back to work?

I don’t know about you, but I’m working my butt off right now. Creating content that’s going to pay off in the weeks, months, and years ahead.

Because if I’m not doing it, it’s a bit lame of me asking you to do the same.

That’s why when I put my weight loss motivational pack together,

I wanted to prove to you, without a shadow of a doubt, that you could create your own unique products from a piece of PLR.

The next few days you could have your production line up and running.

Or you could join the choir on Facebook that complain about how unfair it is that Jeff Bezos has so much money.

Here’s a tip for you, I doubt he’s watching Netflix right now.

Barry J McDonald.

PS – You can either come out of this situation weaker, or stronger, that choice is yours.

What are you gonna do?
