…how little, people who supposedly have an online business, don’t know the basics on running a business, or customer service.
Case in point, two emails I got this week that were thanking me for my prompt response to their emails…and the fact that I even answered them myself.
Mind blown, right?
Business 101…take care of your customers and your customers take care of you.
But it seems like everybody wants to gather all the bucks, but doesn’t want to talk to the folk that gave them those bucks.
As I told John, I’ve never been afraid of my customers. And it doesn’t take much to stand out from the crowd.
Show people that you’ve got a pulse, a brain, and care about aftersales and you’re halfway there.
The other half is showing up on a regular basis so people don’t forget you. – Even McDonalds pays big bucks to stay at the forefront of people’s minds.
Again, the online business folk ain’t got a clue about this one either. It’s all grab the cash and go looking for another sucker to mug.
“See you again in 6 months!” They say.
PS – I might even grace you with a response if Lady Luck smiles in your direction.
And then they wonder why no one opens their emails.
