So, what was the first thing that came to mind on each one?
There are no right answers, only your answer.
Do you know that your opinion on that person’s skill level, education, family life, is just your opinion?
So what you did was mentally take that person and squeeze them into a box according to their profession.
You didn’t take account of their skills, their education, their talents, or anything else, you just saw them as a window cleaner and put them in the window cleaner mold.
And you probably did all of the above without even thinking about it.
It took place in a split second.
Funny thing is, you’re not the only one.
We all do it.
We all label people.
And you know what else we do?
We label ourselves.
We’ve got a box that we think we should go into.
We don’t take account of our skills, our talents, or our experience.
We just say, ‘This is me’ and we cram ourselves into it.

What’s your thought on people your age? – How should they be spending their day?
What are your thoughts on people from your town? – That you’re all blue-collar people that work hard for a living?
I could go on and on…
But you’re going to live your life based on those answers, be they right or wrong.
You’re playing a role based on the labels you’ve given yourself.
