…that’s a question I asked myself this time last year.
Was it possible to record a podcast episode every day for a year?
Well, actually, I’d planned on doing 2 a day.
I thought to myself, there probably aren’t many podcasts that do 720 episodes a year.
Well…I fell way short of that target.
How many did I do?
Well, today I finished up with 391 episodes.
Not bad, if I do say so myself.
And what did I learn from that experiment?
It was easy, and one of the toughest things I ever did.
Recording a five to ten-minute conversation a day is easy.
Doing it every single day is tough….and I mean tough.
There were days when I didn’t want to do it.
There were days when I didn’t allow myself to go to bed until I recorded my episode.
And there was the odd day when I had to stand under a tree to keep out of the rain.
But we got there.
Doing one thing a day mightn’t seem much, but over a year it does really add up.
And that’s one thing I want you to keep in mind.
It’s easy to lose heart when you’re only doing a small thing each day.
But give it time and it’ll snowball.
So what could you achieve in 12 months from today?
Why wait until January first when today could be the day you get started.
