…there will come a time when you’re going to have to put on your big pants and take a leap of faith.
And sometimes you don’t know if it’ll work out.
I didn’t think my first fiction book would sell a copy.
I didn’t think anyone would listen to a podcast… or even watch me in a video.
I didn’t think anyone would buy the first digital product I made.
And you’re going to be in that situation too.
You can play around in the shallow pool from here til eternity, but if you want to swim you’re going to have to push off the wall and move into deeper waters.
Even if you don’t believe in yourself.
You might sink… or you might swim. – But you’ll never swim in shallow waters.
Having an online business is no different to life.
Like those moments when you asked him/her out.
Got married.
Had kids.
Learned to drive.
Things you had to do that seemed beyond you.
You and your business will meet those moments… when you need to take a bigger step than you’ve done before.
Baby steps won’t take you there.
Yeah, you can keep doing them… but don’t expect anything great to happen.
There will be a moment when you’re faced with doing something you don’t think you can do.
You’ve got to do it.
Maybe it won’t work out… but maybe it will.
But when it does you’ll be glad you took that leap.
And everything changes from that moment on : )
